Edward T. Reutzel is an Associate Professor of Management Science. He has served as the Coordinator of the Smeal Junior Core, as Interim Chair of the Management Science and Information Systems Department. He has taught courses in Quantitative Decision-Making and Operations Management at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and has been a seven-time recipient of Excellence in Teaching awards.He has played an active role in executive education programs as both a faculty leader and academic program director, at Penn State as well as on-site locations. Dr. Reutzel was previously employed by the USX Corporation and served in the U.S. Army as a Test and Evaluation Engineer. He has been a consultant to the steel industry, commercial banking, and the telecommunications industry and assisted in the development of the consumer services information system used by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.
