Joe Scott began his career in the K–12 classrooms before moving into instructional design with Penn State World Campus. He later transitioned to Penn State Altoona, where he spent over a decade building and leading an instructional design department. Over the years, he has designed resident, hybrid, remote, and online courses across a wide range of disciplines.

In October 2025, Joe joined the eLDIG team, bringing his passion for creating engaging learning experiences that connect learners to the content, the instructor, and each other. He is dedicated to making learning meaningful, career-relevant, inclusive, and accessible for all students.
