RM 450 – Contemporary Issues in Real Estate
This course is an analytical survey of leading issues associated with the analysis of real estate markets. This course builds upon the introductory courses, RM 303: Real Estate Fundamentals or RM330W: Real Estate Risk Analysis. In this course, we provide an economic perspective on how and why real estate markets function the way they do. Throughout the class, we will analyze current issues related to both the residential and commercial real estate markets through the application of classical real estate theoretical model, the reading of press articles, and in-class discussions.
