Ricky enjoys exploring why employees speak up, how people derive meaning from their work, and how leaders respond to suggestions. He has conducted ethnographic research on how doing business changes the values of entrepreneurs in 5 countries, redesigned processes in a large religious institution to allow for more bottom-up voice, and he is exploring how employees make sense when faced with ethical dilemmas. He also enjoys hiking, biking, and baking sourdough bread.
